Welcome to Loxley Books! These terms and conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the website and your purchase of our bookbinding services. Please read these Terms carefully before placing an order. By accessing or using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Services Offered

Loxley Books offers bookbinding services, including:

• Rebinding existing books with leather.

• Producing notebooks and journals bound in leather and bookcloth.

• Custom rebinding services.

• Pre-bound books for sale.

3. Ordering and Payment

• Orders can be placed through our website.

• Customisation requests are received via the custom book listing or by messaging via the contact form.

• Payment is made via the website at the point of sale, including all custom orders.

4. Shipping and Delivery

• In-stock items: We aim to dispatch in-stock items within 2-3 business days of receiving your order.

• Made-to-order and custom items: These can take up to 4 weeks to produce, depending on our current workload.

• Shipping method: Delivery is arranged by us, usually using Royal Mail or UPS.

• International shipping: We ship to the U.S. and other countries. However, we have no control over any sales tax that may be incurred by those transactions. Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply. We are not responsible for delays due to customs.

• Tax: We are not VAT registered and cannot advise on sales tax.

5. Returns and Exchanges

• You have 30 days from the date of receipt to request a return or exchange.

• The buyer is responsible for return postage costs.

• Any loss in value of the item, if not returned in its original condition, will be deducted from the refund.

• Custom orders are not eligible for returns or exchanges.

6. Customer Responsibilities

• You are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of the information provided during the ordering process.

• Once a custom order has been agreed upon and production has started, it cannot be changed.

7. Intellectual Property

We own all intellectual property rights to our designs and the overall book design.

8. Liability

• Our products are handcrafted and may have minor imperfections or variations from the photos seen on our website.

• Leather is a natural product and may vary in color or have irregularities.

• We are not responsible for any damage or loss to your books during shipping.

We will not share your personal information with third parties.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
